If you missed the first part of this blog post, STOP, and go look at it here right now. It will explain why I adore these two so much.
We wanted to have the second part of their engagement session be closer to home for these two so we strolled around Hoboken, visited their favorite Deli, and enjoyed the evening. I hope you look at these photos and can't tell that it was probably 40 degrees outside. These two have a love that is so warm that anytime I look back at these photos all I feel is warm sun and love.
These two have just under two months left before they tie the knot and I cannot wait to see what the future holds for them. Read More
Oh boy where to start with these two. From the first moment I met them almost a year ago (wow!) I knew they had something special. The ease with which these two just...exist and love each other is remarkable. As transplants from the south these two have manners and kindness in abundance, with impeccable city style to boot. Apart from how fabulous these two are together, they're both also forces to be reckoned with. Damon is a broadway and acting star and Grace is one of the funniest people I know. I even get most of my memes from her. Read More
Andrea and Kyle had a beautiful traditional wedding ceremony and reception at the STUNNING Rust Manor House in Virginia. They celebrated with their closest family and friends in a religious ceremony on the lawn. It was beautiful and I can swear tears filled my eyes when they finished with a group prayer with their bridal party. It was a stunning day and I especially love the images of all of their special details! Read More
Jasmin and her husband are transplants from Germany currently living in Pennsylvania for work. They wanted some photos to commemorate their last weeks as a family of two and Jasmin wanted some photos to remember her experience being pregnant. These two were so prepared for their darling little Raphael to enter the world, having decorated the nursery with a mix of German language and symbols of their nickname for their lovely baby boy.
Jasmin also wanted some empowering fashion magazine-esque solo portraits to remember carrying her baby boy. Is she not the fiercest mama? Read More
Miss J was so excited for her boudoir session because it was a new experience for her, as it is for most of my clients. Let me tell you this lady rocked her session. As soon as her hair and makeup was done I could see the confidence coming off her in waves. I had so much fun with this babe, getting to document her beauty and this time in her life.
BOUDOIR ROCKS! If you're interested in having your own boudoir session head here and let's chat! If you're NYC head here to check out the details on my August NYC boudoir marathon while there are still spots!

It's not often I get to photograph other photographers, but when I do it's truly a magical and creative experience. Ricky is a fine art photographer and musician and Paige is a hair stylist and model. Talk about a talented couple!
Together these two are so playful, passionate, and intimate. They were such a joy to be around and I loved getting to photograph them. Their joy and laughs were contagious. Plus they have great taste in music so what's better than a jammin' session? Read More
Courtney and Steve love to stay at home and cuddle up with their dog Maisie, spending quality time with each other in between the craziness of life. So it made perfect sense that that's what they should do for their anniversary session. Their relationship has a strong foundation in hand-written letters so for the icing on the cake (pun intended) they wrote and read letters to each other about their first year of marriage and their hopes for their future.
This session was full of love, giggles, cuddles, and dancing along to the song that christened their first dance as man and wife.

When I first laid eyes upon all the fabulous lacy garments Miss A brought me my eyes lit up (especially the pastels!). It's a common boudoir misconception that to look sexy you need to stick to dark, moody, saturated colors. Well news flash: your clothes don't make you sexy, YOU MAKE YOU SEXY! You could dress in paper bag and you can still smolder! That goes for everyone!
Miss A also asked me if I thought she should plan her hair so that you couldn't see the magenta ends. My reaction was :O OF course she shouldn't hide them! They are part of her self expression, her personality. Don't hide parts of yourself. You're beautiful! Read More
This lady here is also a frequent subject on this blog, like Katt. I am so thankful to have gotten to work with so many amazing entrepreneurs. Madison, like Katt is a fierce, tough, strong,, supportive, and loving soul. I wanted to give back and show her how fabulous she is. And boy did she rock it!

If you've been reading my blog for any significant amount of time you know who this fabulous babe is. She is one of the bravest and toughest people I know.
Boudoir aims to show the subject just how beautiful they are from a 3rd party, unbiased perspective. This lady is heart, soul, and mind a beautiful warrior. The beauty we see in ourselves is riddled with self criticisms and external pressures, but for all of the people I photograph my goal is to show them in their pure, unfiltered, raw beauty and ferocity. Jordan and Jeff had a small, emotional, intimate wedding with 20 guests. They started their day by getting ready with their friends and family in adjacent rooms, had their first look in front of the doors where they met, and read personalized letters to each other. This was the perfect way to start a wedding day that was focused on being surrounded by their loved ones. Jordan's stunning rose bridal gown was perfect for her and the unique, elegant style of their wedding.
These two lovebirds got married in the beautiful Carlyle House Gardens, which if you don't know, is truly a garden oasis in the city of Alexandria. They finished off the night with a private reception dinner at Virtue Feed and Grain. Everything was personalized by the bride and groom and involved their loved ones in any way possible. I am so glad I had the opportunity to help document this couple's day because it was truly so personal to them and so full of love and happy tears. Read More
Okay I shot this stunning, tender, emotional wedding a few months ago and I am sure I was the epitome of the heart-eyes emoji all day! These two did what I hope everyone does, went beyond the norm, and made every area of their day their own. From the personalized tie bars, the unique (but amazing!) colors, the Spanish and English fusion decorations, their five cakes made by Joe's sister (swoon!) and the fact that they ended the night with the tradition of Cuban Crazy Hour! With the first week of 2018 almost behind us, I figured I would take this opportunity to offer all of you a little part of me. Heck, a BIG, LOUD part of me. Rather than do the same old review of 2017 like most photographers I figured I would tell you about my goals for 2018. Instead of just telling you that I want to do x or y, I want you to be able to hear and feel my goals. It's more impactful that way. Read More
This post has been a long time coming and I am so happy to announce that this editorial has been published on Catalyst Wedding Co.! Catalyst Wedding Co. is all about celebrating the diversity of the human race and celebrating people and couples of all shapes, sizes, races, religions, genders (or lack thereof), and anything else you can imagine. SO to be published on a site that supports what I believe in so fully was an honor, and one I hope to have a gain someday.
I had the amazing opportunity to photograph this wedding editorial earlier in 2017 and it was a huge project. We ended up with 22 vendors and I am forever thankful to everyone who helped bring this vision to reality. We were all so inspired by the style and the vibe of the new Williamsburg Hotel in Brooklyn and this stylish and glam editorial was the end result of the inspiration. Read More
These two ladies and their love STOLE. MY. HEART. I'm pretty sure they also stole my words because these photos are truer to their pure love than my words could ever do justice. They are perfect together. So I'll let these photos speak for the love these two amazing people have. Read More
Jess and Jimmy are Maryland natives temporarily living down south. So after Jess inquired about having me photograph their April wedding we jumped on Skype to talk further. Let me tell you, it must have been fate because we immediately bonded over our energetic, adorable, little pups and some very exciting and sentimental details Jess has in store for her big day. Madison and I have become good friends over the past year of working together, but this was the first time I'd met Dave and got to see them together. The way they look at each other, their love is so palpable. These two have been through thick and thin together and I'm pretty sure I had a goofy grin all over my face this whole session. Read More
If you know anything about what inspires me, getting to photograph in a quaint city, and a floral paradise in one day is a DREAM. I love the energy of cities like Alexandria that are just big enough to be a city, but have the character of a small town and I'm obsessed with being in nature. So Alexandria + River Farm (The American horticulture Society's headquarters) was hands down an amazing wedding day.
Not only did this wedding make me itch to photograph again in both fabulous places ( hint-hint ;) ), but it was the perfect example of how much more beautiful a wedding day is when you throw all your worries (like makeup or running late) out the window and just FEEL every moment of the day. Emily and Ryan were so joyous and emotional all throughout their gorgeous day and that makes me love the images so SO much more. Read More
As a photographer, and more generally as a bubbly person, I'm drawn to couples that are crazy-in-love, detail-oriented, and a little funky. Kristy and Derek were all three of these! Working with these two energetic, party-loving, fun people was a whirlwind of a day, but still oh so sweet!
Below are some highlights from their day! Can you tell I loved that river?? Read More
